NEW YORK, New York – November 18, 2009 – Computer Consultants International (CCI) announced today that Executive Staff attended the 10th annual Directorship Forum hosted in New York City. This year’s event dealt with rethinking strategy, business models, leadership, and corporate governance philosophies as lessons learned from the economic crisis of 2008 and the ongoing recovery.
At the event, CCI met with Kenneth Feinberg, Special Master of the US Government’s TARP Executive Compensation and C-Level Leadership from a variety of leading firms. Other attendees including Chief Justice Myron Steele, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein, Berkshire Hathaway’s annual meeting moderators, Harvard’s Jay Lorsch and more. CCI leaders were pleased to note the turnout of women leaders at the Directorship Forum, such as Maggie Wilderotter, Chairman and CEO of Frontier Communication Corp, previously the CEO of Executive Vice President for National Operations for AT&T Wireless, and Senior VP at Microsoft, and Bonnie Hill, Co-Founder and Director of Icon Blue, and former CEO for the Times Mirror Foundation and Senior VP for the Los Angeles Times. “It’s great to see so many women leaders at this event,” said Arshia Tayyab, CCI’s President and CEO. “I’ve been to over a number of conferences this year and have often been the only woman in the room—or one of only a handful.”
